FEATURING
The College Coaches Showcase Camp is designed for high school softball players that want to work directly with college coaches on the field. The event is for those players who are focused on becoming prospective student-athletes and want to showcase their skills. The camp will feature high level instruction from active college coaches, verbal evaluations and feedback provided by the coaching staff through the instructional process, as well as a discussion on the process of working towards a college softball opportunity. Though every event may differ, the College Coaches Showcase Camp will feature instruction on the latest metrics and standards at the college level. The college coaches on site will instruct players through these measurables and provide feedback on how to improve. The camp is open to all high school softball players and is restricted in enrollment. The player-to-coach ratio will not exceed 8:1. These camps are in compliance with all NCAA rules.
GENERAL CAMP SCHEDULE
8:00 AM - 11:00 AM → Pitching & Catching Evaluation & Instruction (Discussion for Parents and Prospective Student Athletes will follow immediately after this session for those registered only in the pitching and catching sessions)
11:00 AM - 1:00 PM → Infield/Outfield Defense Evaluation & Instruction (Discussion for Parents and Prospective Student Athletes will follow immediately after this session for those registered only in an infield or outfield session)
1:00 PM - 5:00 PM → Hitting & Offensive Skills Evaluation & Instruction (Discussion for Parents and Prospective Student Athletes will be a part of the hitting rotations for those players registered for in any hitting segment)
SESSION COSTS
- $179 FOR ONE SESSION
- $279 FOR TWO SESSIONS
- $329 FOR THREE SESSIONS
- These sessions are expected to fill quickly and will be limited in enrollment.
ALL PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE
- Instruction from all coaches attending the event.
- Feedback on Hitting, Throwing , Running, and Defense (by position).
- Opportunities to ask questions about their skills and get to know the college coaches.
- An open discussion about the NCAA recruiting process, rules, and regulations (parents are encouraged to participate in this discussion).
- All campers will be numbered so the coaches can identify each player.
EVALUATION & INSTRUCTION
Evaluations will be provided from the coaches during and around the instructional process. Because we focus on a high level of player-coach interaction we highly recommend that players ask for any specific evaluations they may want during the event. We also encourage parents to approach any of the camp staff after the event is over for additional feedback and information.
DISCUSSION FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENT ATHLETES
This portion of the event is open to all registered participants and parents. It will cover various topics relative to the college experience, NCAA recruiting process and rules along with and open Q and A for parents and players to get information straight from coaches.
**Infielders, Outfielders, & Hitters will all take part in the same Speed, Agility & Metrics segment. This is done to avoid duplication of the activity.**
